A companion piece to “The Last Slide Projector” (2006), this video captures the final milestones in the life-cycle of Eastman Kodak’s Carousel slide projector. Contemplating the relationship of image-making to the experience of change and loss, “Historic Moments” was shot on 16mm and digital video and has screened in Providence, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Belgium, and Macedonia. An earlier version of this video was shown as an installation in the “SlideShow” exhibition at the Baltimore Museum of Art in 2005. The full-length documentary, “The Last Slide Projector,” premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2007.
